The Sydney Comedy Festival is thrilled to present a hand-picked Showcase of some of the best, brightest, knee-slappingly hilarious comedians of the 2013 Comedy Festival.

The Showcase is heading West on its regional tour delivering a hilarious night of world-class comedy straight to your doorstep!

PAUL OGATA
Paul Ogata's comedy is an edgy, often-improvised, always-hilarious, wild ride through the corners of his mind. His quick, animated delivery of clever material led him to victory in the prestigious 32nd Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition. Paul headlines shows around the world!

On television, you can catch Paul on the Showtime presentation of "Pacific Rim Comedy", currently airing in rotation on the cable network. Paul has also been featured on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham", the syndicated "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen" and co-stars in the underground hit motion picture, "Porndogs" with adult-movie legends Ron Jeremy, Tera Patrick and the late Marilyn Chambers. He has also appeared in Damon Wayans' film "Behind the Smile", on CBS' "The Late Late Show" as well as on TBS, NBC and PBS.

BRUCE GRIFFITHS
Bruce is so good your other favourite comedians tell his jokes! He has been a stand out at this years festival showcases and a crowd favourite at the Sydney Comedy Store.
His writing credits are astonishing and include The Glass House, Good News Week, Enough Rope with Andrew Denton and many more!
Live, Bruce is a one liner genius that has to be seen to be believed. DO NOT MISS HIM! Trust us, you will talk about him for days.

RAY BADRAN
Ray Badran, winner of the self-appointed Best Bloke Award, is one of Australia's rising comedians.
A regular at the Sydney Comedy Store, Ray has also performed on The Footy Show and contributed writing to various TV shows such as Good News Week.

Last year was a big one for Ray: he performed in both the Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festivals and in the USA. He also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science and once made the grand final of the World Strawberry Eating Championships.

CHRIS WAINHOUSE
Chris is a regular headline act at some of the world's most prestigious comedy venues including The Sydney Comedy Store, Melbourne's Comedy Club "The Classic" in Auckland and Jongluers in the UK.

His sharp-witted and daringly clever act has seen him perform with many comic greats such as Vince Sorrenti, Bruno Lucia, Jeff Green (UK), John Maloney (UK), Mark Mayer (UK), Arj Barker (USA) and Stevie Starr - The Regurgitator.
Sharp witted and daringly clever, Chris' fresh brand of comedy is guaranteed to bring any audience undone.

DAVE JORY
Dave has appeared on many well-known TV shows, including 'The NRL Footy Show', 'Stand Up Australia', 'Joker Poker', 'Last Comic Standing' and 'The Mansion'.
You might remember him from Triple J radio where he was a regular along with his good friend and dazzling radio personality Scott Dooley. This began with a mildly amusing fake celebrity gossip segment (2006-2007) and then exploded in 2008 with the very popular drive-time segment 'I Love This Crowd' where Dave performed listener's jokes in a comedy club, then played the recordings on-air for discussion.
He's worked with lots of great comics over the years, including being the opening act for Weird Al Yankovic, Arj Barker and Paulie Shore for their respective shows at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
