National Science Week is proud to present Astronomer, writer and Discovery Channel presenter Dr Phil Plait. With experience ranging from working for NASA on the Hubble Space Telescope to hosting his own TV show, The Bad Astronomer (as he’s affectionately known, for his popular blog of the same name), has a passion for debunking bad science.
Join host Dr Paul Willis, director of RiAus, as Dr Plait demolishes a wide array of scientific misconceptions, from standing eggs on end, to whether Bruce Willis ever would be able to save us from destruction by asteroid. And just how much science is there in The Simpsons?
