The Brisbane Zombie Walk is a charity event that raises money for the Brain Foundation of Australia.

The Brisbane Zombie Walk is an annual event which was first introduced to Queensland in 2006.

In 2009, The Brisbane Zombie Walk became affiliated with The Brain Foundation of Australia to raise awareness and funds whilst offering the public a unique and entertaining charity event.

Over 5,000 participants were recorded as being involved in The Brisbane Zombie Walk in 2009 - an unofficial world record.

In 2010, the Brisbane Zombie Walk attracted a staggering 10,000 participants to actively join in the walk and raised $13,000 for the Brain Foundation, $3,000 above the target amount.

In 2011 the aim was to continue to raise in excess of $10,000 for the Brain Foundation and to officially break the Guinness World Record for the largest Zombie Walk attendance. We were delighted to announce that we raised in excess of $24,000 for the Brain Foundation and had over  20,000 participants.

2012 saw the event take a whole new direction with the introduction of a fully fledged Music Festival, held at Victoria Park in Spring Hill. The format was a huge success and raised over $55,000 for the Brain Foundation, making this the biggest and the most successful Zombie Walk in the world.

This year,  the walk will be held at RNA Showgrounds on Sunday October 6th  (Labour Day long weekend). Last year saw the arrival of the Apocalypse. This year, we introduce the 'Carnival of the Dead' to celebrate the freaks, the ghoulish and the bizarre.

PLEASE NOTE: The family can include 2 adults and 2 Children or 1 Adult and 3 Children. Children are aged 6-15 yrs. Children under 6 Yrs are free of charge.
