Architects have announced their first Australian headline shows since 2010, playing club shows in Sydney and Melbourne this September as side shows from their massive arena tour supporting The Amity Affliction. Joining them as support are US hardcore band Stray From The Path, and Sydney boys Hand Of Mercy.

Architects are no stranger to Australian shores. They supported Parkway Drive (2009) and The Amity Affliction (2012) and were one of the breakthrough acts on Soundwave's 2010 lineup. In late 2010 they headlined and have since become one of the most sought after touring acts in the heavy music world.

The hard work paid off this year, when their sixth album
Lost Forever // Lost Together debuted at #13on the ARIA Charts in March. The album has been a huge hit with Australian audiences, and was voted the #1 album so far this year in Short Fast Loud's Mid-Year audience poll.

Lost Forever // Lost Together  has been one of the most acclaimed heavy records of 2014, and last month it helped the band take out the "Best UK Band" award at the Golden Gods in the UK. Lost Forever // Lost Together  has received glowing reviews from publications around the world including Alternative Press, Kerrang, Rock Sound and Blunt Magazine.

Architects will play Melbourne and Sydney on their off days from playing direct support to The Amity Affliction, who sold out Festival Hall and Hordern Pavilion in less than a week on sale. Supporting will be Stray From The Path, who are also playing on the Amity tour, and Sydney band Hand Of Mercy, who are preparing for the release of their forthcoming third album, Resolve.

Tickets to the Architects shows will sell for $25 and will be available on Friday, 11th July at 9am. Tickets to both shows are expected to sell very quickly.
