Following their hugely successful run on the Falls and Southbound Festivals, An Horse will return to Australia this April in continued support of their acclaimed 2011 full-length, Walls (Mom+Pop).
The band have released a third video off Walls for the album track, "Airport Death", the video was directed by Nina Stiefel, a recent graduate of the NYU Film School, and shot in Brooklyn, NY. The video is a true labor of love, worked on by several former NYU Film School students. Walls, released in April on Mom+Pop/Shock Records, garnered glowing critical acclaim and saw An Horse continue to keep a relentless pace on the road through Australia, Europe and North America, where they performed at Bamboozle Fest, Osheaga, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Rolling Stone Weekender and CMJ. 2012 will continue to be a busy year for the duo.
Some praise for Walls: "Cooper's emotionally shadowy lyrics burrow into the personal tensions we try to forget, but can't escape." - Rolling Stone
"An Horse doesn't hide behind decorum in its songs, which skew tuneful but driving, with a brusque concision derived from punk rock and a clean efficiency in line with power pop." - The New York Times
"this Aussie duo's buzzy guitar pop is more hyper and gripping than ever" - SPIN
"Walls' 12 songs run the gamut of the heart while balancing perfect pop with slightly anguished indie rock." - Alternative Press "An Horse seeks to rescue pop from the gumball machine" - Blackbook
